SDA to open two more Buy Paris Duty Free stores at Charles de Gaulle

FRANCE. Buy Paris Duty Free – the retail brand of the Société de Distribution Aéroportuaire joint venture between Aéroports de Paris and LS travel retail – is to open two more stores at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, focusing on beauty care and French lifestyle products.

Covering a combined retail space of 1,200sq m and located in Terminal 2F, they will be exclusively dedicated to perfumes, cosmetics, wines & spirits, tobacco products and fine foods.

Once opened, Buy Paris Duty Free will have 72 outlets across Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly airports.

The new stores will offer brands including Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Lancôme, Guerlain, Yves Saint Laurent, Armani, and Givenchy. Several fragrance brands will have dedicated areas – including Chloé, Issey Miyake, Kenzo and Jean-Paul Gaultier as well as top-of-the-range brands such as Serge Lutens and Annick Goutal.

Buy Paris Duty Free will also introduce new brands L’Atelier Cologne, make-up brand By Terry, Clarisonic, Durance and more accessible brands such as Bourjois and Yves Rocher. Diptyque will also have its first airport corner.

The retailer stressed the attention paid to selecting wines and spirits for the stores, choosing brands highly prized by international travellers, including Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Rémy Martin, Hennessy.

The new shops will also offer a wide range of wines, from small producers for wine lovers – including the AOC Bordeaux Supérieur Château de Seguin 2010 – to the prestigious and extremely rare Grand Crus and vintages for collectors.
