Sennheiser unveils revamped Momentum headphones in Singapore

Electronics company Sennheiser is presenting its upgraded Momentum headphone range, which now includes wireless Bluetooth models, at this week’s TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition (stand number: N10).

The Momentum Wireless and Momentum On-Ear Wireless headphones, available in black and ivory, feature NFC technology for “at a touch” pairing with an NFC-enabled mobile device which allows users to quickly establish a Bluetooth connection for audio transmission, said the brand. The apt-X codec claims to deliver superior unaltered CD quality sound when connecting the headphones wirelessly to any Bluetooth apt-X-enabled device.

Sennheiser’s new Momentum Wireless and On-Ear Wireless models feature noise cancellation technology and a folding headband design

Another feature of the new Momentum Wireless and Momentum On-Ear Wireless headphones is Sennheiser’s NoiseGard Hybrid technology, said to offer advanced active noise cancellation by using four microphones to efficiently monitor and block ambient noise. VoiceMax technology, featuring dual built-in microphones, is said to cancel out external interference to ensure optimum clear voice conversations.

The headphones feature the same fit and comfort of the new generation of headphones, with a rounder profile for improved comfort. The folding headband design allows the headphones to fold away tidily in the supplied carry cases for even greater portability, said Sennheiser.

The Momentum Wireless and Momentum On-Ear Wireless models both come with a charging cable, flight adaptor, carrying case and built-in batteries which last for 22 hours.
