Sensai prepares to showcase latest skincare innovations at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes

Japanese luxury beauty brand Sensai, owned by Kao Corporation, is set to present its latest skincare collection and bestsellers at the upcoming TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Riviera Village, RE11).

Seeking to bolster its commitment to travel retail, the company will be exhibiting at a bigger stand in a new location, alongside its sister brand Molton Brown.

Sensai will shine the light on its new skincare innovations at the Cannes show, including the Absolute Silk Micro Essence-in-Lotion, as well as the Cellular Performance range, which includes lotion, emulsion and cream

The brand’s Cannes showcase will feature its upcoming autumn/winter 2024 product releases, including an eye cream from its Ultimate super-premium skincare collection, and the Absolute Silk Micro Essence-In-Lotion.

These latest innovations represent Sensai’s strategy to enhance its prestige portfolio, further driving loyalty and growth in the category and extending its high-end price point offer.

Sensai General Manager Julien Noilou said: “We are thrilled with the results of our new Ultimate The Mask, which launched in spring/summer 2024 and is already surpassing expectations.

“Importantly, we have seen impressive growth overall within our Ultimate high-end skincare collection, which is extremely popular with European consumers, and has grown +94% in first-half 2024 versus the same period in 2023.

“Overall, Sensai’s EMEA wholesale business increased +11% in first-half 2024 versus 2023, and +19% versus 2019. I’m pleased to confirm that growth was generated by both domestic markets and the travel retail channel, which has now returned to pre-COVID numbers.

“Against this encouraging backdrop, we look forward to reconnecting with our existing business customers in Cannes, and to forging successful new partnerships.”

Sensai is also hosting a Cocktail Party with Molton Brown on 30 September, featuring a preview of the brand’s new offers for spring/summer 2025, including the Cellular Performance line and a barrier-optimising essence for sensitive skin.

Reflecting its commitment to sustainability, the brand will highlight its latest initiatives focused on sustainable luxury and ESG principles through elements such as luxury refill systems, recycled packaging and responsibly sourced ingredients. ✈
