Serge Brunschwig takes the helm at Celine – 07/03/06

FRANCE. LVMH, the world’s leading luxury products group, has announced the appointment of Serge Brunschwig as President and CEO of Celine.

He succeeds Jean-Marc Loubier, who will pursue other responsibilities within the group, LVMH said.

Brunschwig joined Louis Vuitton Malletier in 1995 as Head of Southeast Asia. He was subsequently appointed President and CEO of Sephora Europe. Since September 2002 he has been Managing Director of Louis Vuitton Malletier, in charge of the development of the international retail network.

He is replaced by Philippe Schaus, who has been named International Director of Louis Vuitton Malletier.

Schaus has been President, Europe of Louis Vuitton Malletier since 2003. Formerly, he was General Manager of the Arts de la Table division of Villeroy & Boch AG, then General Manager of Guy Degrenne.

Jean-Marc Loubier joined Louis Vuitton Malletier in 1990 as Director of Communications. In 1998 he was named Deputy General Manager in charge of Communications and Marketing. He has been President and CEO of Celine since June 2000.
