“A new standard in highway dining” – Avolta unveils Italian-themed roadside restaurant in Feistritz

AUSTRIA. Leading global travel experience player Avolta has officially opened a highway restaurant in Feistritz.

“Setting a new standard in highway dining,” the newly renovated outlet is located on the A10 Tauern highway.

The opening of this highway restaurant reflects Avolta’s intent to set a new standard for the motorway hospitality service  

It houses an array of innovative concepts, offering authentic Italian dishes and products.

These include Granbar, which offers a premium selection of beverages; Fucina, serving pasta and local food; BurgerIn, providing a selection of gourmet burgers; and Market, a convenience store concept.

Avolta CEO Northern, Central and Eastern Europe Walter Seib said: “We are proud to unveil this new restaurant to motorists. Our aim is to distinguish ourselves from other roadside offerings by working directly with Autogrill Italy’s suppliers to deliver unique products, design and service standards.

“Guided by our commitment to sustainability, we chose to refurbish the site while preserving the building’s existing structure. We look forward to welcoming travellers to experience our top-notch dining and retail offerings, designed to provide comfort, quality and a taste of Italy on the go.”

Avolta Company Operating Manager Austria & Slovenia Martin Ugrinovits added: “This is the biggest investment done in the 27-year existence of Autogrill on the Austrian market. Our new flagship store Feistritz was built within a record time and marks a milestone for the future within the motorway hospitality service.”

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Feistritz Mayor Manuel Muller, as well as representatives from Avolta’s esteemed partners ASFINAG Autobahn Service and BP. Dedicated contractors and colleagues also joined the celebration.  ‍
