US. Sheaffer Pen has unveiled its 2011 collections, including the Sheaffer 100 Friends of Winter range, a new special edition that showcases winter-themed designs of bamboo, pine and plum trees.
The new collections were launched at Paperworld, the leading international trade fair for paper, office supplies and stationery, in Frankfurt, Germany, which was attended by 45,500 visitors.
“The Paperworld trade show is very important to Sheaffer,” said Sheaffer Pen Group Brand Manager Gretchen Dickenson. “This annual exposition gives us the chance to highlight our newest products to buyers from all over the world. In fact, Paperworld attracts people from more than 140 countries.”
The Sheaffer 100 Friends of Winter Collection features three finishes, including:
• Gloss Black Featuring Nickel Plate Trim, Bamboo Design – with a suggested retail price (SRP) of US$35 for the roller ball and US $30 for the ballpoint
• Gloss Black Featuring Nickel Plate Trim, Pine Design; SRP US$35 roller ball, US$30 ballpoint
• Gloss Black Featuring Nickel Plate Trim, Plum Design; SRP US$35 roller ball, US$30 ballpoint
Dickenson added: “We are excited about the launch of the Friends of Winter collection. The Bamboo, Pine and Plum designs have symbolic meaning of fortitude while inspiring people to persevere and flourish under adversity. When presented together, they also signify a lasting friendship likened to friends who are faithful to each other in difficult times.”
In addition, Sheaffer presented new finishes of Sheaffer Intensity, including Medici Engraved Chrome finish; Fluted Chrome finish; Glossy White Barrel with Spiral Engraved Chrome Cap; and Carbon Fiber Barrel with Bright Chrome Cap. Available in fountain pen, roller ball and ballpoint, the new finishes retail between US$55-$85.
Also on show were new Sheaffer VFM finishes including Radiant Ruby featuring Nickel Plate Trim; Ultimate Plum featuring Nickel Plate Trim; Chilled Blue featuring Nickel Plate Trim; and Maximum Orange featuring Nickel Plate Trim. Available in roller ball, ballpoint or fountain pen, the Sheaffer VFM has a SRP of US$12.50-$17.50.
