SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free is celebrating the recent opening of additional stores in its high-end experiential shopping space at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2.
Located in front of the Korean Air Lounge, the 2,880sq m Shinsegae Zone now includes dedicated stores for beauty, fashion, liquor, tobacco and food.
A current standout element in this immersive retail space is the Chanel Winter Tale Podium, described as the largest of its kind in Asia Pacific travel retail.
The holiday activation is set against a dynamic blend of beauty boutiques and multi-brand fashion stores.
Shinsegae Zone showcases an extensive selection of over 240 brands, from luxury labels to K-brands, watches, jewellery, gourmet foods and toys.
Diverse beauty offer
The beauty zone allows travellers to explore a curated selection of beauty products including skincare, makeup and fragrances, divided into three distinct sections for an easier shopping experience.
The store showcases a diverse portfolio of premium skincare brands introduced in September, including Estée Lauder, Lancome, SK-II and Sulwhasoo, as well as trendy brands Tamburins, Aesop and L:A Bruket.
Catering to MZ consumers, the store also offers K-beauty products such as Muzigae-Mansion and The Medicube.
Complementing this impressive beauty brand lineup are the cosmetics and fragrance stores, which house an exclusive collection of 99 niche fragrances, makeup brands and K beauty products.
Highlights at the store include the travel retail launch of Prada Beauty and Fueguia 1833’s channel debut in Asia Pacific.
Fueguia 1833 offers limited-edition fragrances, with just 400 individually numbered bottles per scent, highlighting its artisanal production.
To further enhance the selection the store has added more brands, including Santa Maria Novella, Portré and Tocobo.
The space is organised into sections, including the Perfume Atelier, Couture Makeup and K-Beauty Curated Zone, providing customers with a more convenient way to discover and test products.
Fashion and lifestyle variety
The multi-fashion store houses a wide array of brands such as Ugg, Roger Vivier, Coach, Hugo Boss and Mandarina Duck, and introduces an exclusive golf-wear section featuring J.Lindeberg and G/FORE to meet the rising demand from international golf travellers.

Another storey takes shape
Shinsegae Duty Free said it plans to open a duplex store featuring top-tier luxury brands at the west entrance of Incheon International Airport in the first half of 2025, anticipating that the Shinsegae Zone will become a premier luxury shopping destination.
The openings form part of the travel retailer’s ten-year duty-free concession programme at the airport’s departure zones (DF4 and DF2), marking the continuation of a phased roll-out which began last year.
The September opening of a 2,107sq multi-fashion and beauty store marked the first phase in the development of this immersive shopping space.
A Shinsegae Duty Free representative said: “Our goal is to create a space where customers can discover products tailored to their preferences, enjoy unique experiences and take home joyful memories.
“Through curated merchandise, themed zones and expertly designed layouts, we aim to drive growth and establish Shinsegae Zone as a must-visit shopping destination.” ✈
