Shiseido is aiming to build on its success within the eye contour category (the company claims to be number three in Europe) with the introduction of Bio-Performance Super Corrective Eye Cream. It will be available from September.
The product is said to go beyond traditional moisturising and wrinkle care, to revive the elasticity of the delicate skin around the eyes – a characteristic closely associated with youth.
According to the brand, its new eye cream delivers noticeable results in just one day, with distinct improvement after three weeks. Its formula features a triple-layer hyaluronic acid supply system, to boost the skin’s capacity for maintaining elasticity in the dermis, epidermis and stratum corneum.
Shiseido’s Bio-Defining Complex helps to promote the production and reduce the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, keeping it at optimal levels throughout the skin’s layers. The complex contains Super-Bio Yeast Extract, Rosemary Extract and Vitamin A Acetate.
With regular use, Bio-Performance Super Corrective Eye Cream is said to counteract the tired look that appears with age, appearing to lift the eye contours, visibly reduce wrinkles and minimise the look of dark circles.
