Shiseido Travel Retail celebrated the Year of the Rooster with a series of promotions centred on the new 2017 campaign for Shiseido’s best-selling Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate.
Travellers at key airports including Dubai International and Paris Roissy were invited by Shiseido beauty consultants to a specially created Zodiac Fortune counter. Here, they discovered their zodiac animals – and corresponding ‘zodiac products’ from Shiseido – and had their horoscopes read for the new year.
To further celebrate Chinese New Year, Shiseido Travel Retail has introduced a limited-edition travel retail-exclusive set, comprising Ultimune 100ml and Eudermine Revitalizing Essence 200ml.
As part of the promotions, customers who purchased two skincare products received gifts-with-purchase from Shiseido’s anti-ageing Future Solution LX line, as well as Shiseido-branded red packets.
Shiseido Travel Retail Vice-President Marketing Elisabeth Jouguelet said: “Chinese New Year is the most important celebration on the Chinese calendar, and we wanted to offer something special for the occasion. The limited-edition travel retail exclusive brings together two Shiseido icons: Ultimune, which has been refreshed for 2017; and Eudermine, one of the brand’s oldest products introduced in 1897 and prized in Japan for over a century.
