SINGAPORE. Singapore Airlines (SIA) continued to enjoy strong passenger loads in July, confirming the national carrier’s improved performance this year.
SIA enjoyed a passenger load factor of 78% last month, 2.5 percentage points better than June’s 75.5% and the best since January this year, when it stood at 79.3%.
‘With the recovery of global air travel post-SARS, carriage in all route regions increased when compared with July 2003,’ the airline said.
Passenger numbers rose by +21.2% over last July.
