SINGAPORE. Changi Airport has unveiled an innovative wellness and entertainment space in Terminal 2, featuring themed zones tailored for different experiences.
The Fit&Fun Zone, described as a first of its kind at an airport, is designed to tackle travel fatigue and offer an energy boost for travellers of all ages.
The 400sq m venue allows passengers to stretch, move, enjoy and capture photos while waiting for their flight.
The Green Zone features six pendulum chairs in a calm setting, offering passengers a quiet break with views of Dreamscape.
The Orange Zone offers a playful and safe way to release energy with Spar Pods, featuring elevated soft punching bags on thin ropes for glove-free use, plus wall-mounted 3D petal structures to jab.
At the Pink Zone, passengers can perform strength exercises using four pull-down levers with weights ranging from two to eight kilograms. Each lever is connected to a light ball, which changes colour when pulled, providing a visual boost to the exercise.
The Yellow Zone offers five trampoline pods, each 3 to 3.5 metres high, equipped with music-activated sensors, encouraging travellers to bounce and dance.
Featuring a cave-themed rope maze, the Blue Zone encourages travellers to explore and navigate without touching the ropes, creating an engaging and adventurous experience.
The Fit&Fun Zone is the most recent addition to Terminal 2 following its November 2023 expansion.
The space is open throughout the day and accessible to all travellers. ✈
