Sisley helps skin to recharge with new Botanical D-Tox treatment

Botanical D-Tox will be launched in February

Upscale beauty house Sisley has unveiled its new Botanical D-Tox detoxifying night treatment. It will be available in travel retail from February 2013. The product is described as a powerful one-month “cure” which helps exhausted skin to recharge its batteries.

When skin is overloaded by fatigue, stress and lifestyle issues, it becomes clogged and unable to rid itself of toxins that dull its radiance, Sisley maintains. Botanical D-Tox is said to have an “anti-asphyxiation” action which helps to eliminate toxins from cells both deep down and on the skin’s surface, resulting in revitalised and revived skin.

Key ingredients include rice peptide extract, which helps the detoxifying process; extract of einkorn wheat, which helps mimic the cells’ natural antioxidant activity; and extract of ginkgo biloba, which stimulates the skin’s microcirculation.

In addition to its detoxifying properties, Botanical D-Tox also moisturises and soothes, Sisley maintains, thanks to a cocktail including oils of sage, rosemary, lavender and marjoram, vegetable glycerine and shea butter.

Botanical D-Tox is ideal for use at specific times, such as the end of winter/beginning of spring, post-pregnancy, and after periods of prolonged travel and jet-lag. After four weeks’ use, the face appears less tired with smoother features, and is once again able to profit from its daily skincare regime.

Botanical D-Tox is presented in a 30ml pump dispenser.
