US. Smashbox Cosmetics has unveiled its Holiday 2007 collection, called Beyond Beauty. Described as a cosmetic cause for celebration, the limited-edition items are chic and glamorous, and aim to take a make-up look “beyond ordinary”, according to the company.
The collection features an assortment of brushes, colour palettes and beauty kits. Key items include the Encounter Brush Kit (US$84), a limited-edition set of six, full-size professional brushes, complete with clear lucite handles.
They are presented in a sleek white case big enough to store a selection of make-up products alongside.
Fusion Eye & Cheek Palettes (US$39) are sleek, silver, double-tiered sets that feature a multi-hued Fusion Eye Shadow and a Fusion Soft Lights Powder. They contain everything needed to create seductive eyes and a glowing complexion in one complete, portable palette. Two colourways are available: Endless (warm) and Reflect (cool).
The Light Speed Lip Gloss Collection (US$29) comprises six sheer glosses (four new shades and two best-sellers) that can be worn separately or layered together for a customised look.
Preparation products include a Photo Finish Foundation Primer & Photo Op Under Eye Brightener Kit (US$49). This set features Smashbox’s best-selling Photo Finish Foundation Primer in full and travel sizes, and a regular Photo Op Under Eye Brightener.
