Sol de Janeiro ‘Celebrate Out Loud’ holiday campaign lands at Paris CDG with Extime Duty Free

Sol de Janeiro’s Celebrate Out Loud pop-up adds colour and joy to Paris CDG this holiday season

FRANCE. L’OCCITANE Travel Retail has launched the Sol de Janeiro Celebrate Out Loud holiday campaign at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport in collaboration with the Groupe ADP/Lagardère Travel Retail Extime Duty Free joint venture and advertising partner JC Decaux.

Other key partners include Le Chocolat des Français, Paris calling, Elba and WITH SHIFT.

With the tagline ‘irresistible gifts to escape the ordinary,’ the activation brings a Brazilian feel to one of Europe’s busiest travel hubs during the festive season.

The 360-degree pop-up experience features Sol de Janeiro’s signature bold colours and playful jungle-inspired design.

The animation features lifelike replicas of tropical animals, vibrant foliage and oversized dummies of Sol de Janeiro hero products such as the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream.

Brazilian festive music and a lively atmosphere complete the immersive experience.

The pop-up showcases an extensive selection of Sol de Janeiro’s limited edition holiday sets, featuring popular products across body care and fragrance categories.

Key festive sets include Cheirosa Perfume Mist Set, Rio Body Retreat and Rio Shower Ritual.

The Cheirosa Perfume Mist Set comprises the Cheirosa 40, 59, 68 & 62 Perfume Mists, while the Rio Body Retreat set offers the Brazilian 4-Play Body Wash, Bum Bum Body Cream and Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist.

The Rio Shower Ritual houses the Bum Bum Firmeza Oil, Bum Bum Body Scrub, Cream and Brazilian 4-Play Body Wash.

Travellers can also explore Sol de Janeiro best-sellers, including Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist and indulgent body care ranges such as Delícia Drench, Beija Flor and Bom Dia at the animation.

The Celebrate Out Loud campaign brings gifting to life with a Bum Bum Table offering product testing and a back wall featuring holiday sets.

Brand promoters, dressed in safari-themed outfits, add to the festive feel while inviting travellers to participate in a Memory Game to receive complimentary gifts such as product samples or chocolates.

Travellers can also engage with a festive photo booth, enhanced with augmented reality filters, which creates shareable digital greeting cards.

The gifting station features gift bags, name tags and eco-friendly Furoshiki wrapping (traditional Japanese gift-wrapping) for purchases over €120.

Decorated in Sol de Janeiro’s signature vibrant palette and playful motifs, the reusable Japanese-style cloth wrap comes with a step-by-step guide. Travellers spending over €80 can also receive a tropical-themed beach bag to complement their purchases.

In a twist to the campaign, Sol de Janeiro has partnered with Le Chocolat des Français to offer travellers complimentary salted caramel chocolates paired with purchases of the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream.

Customers spending over €120 receive a reusable Furoshiki wrap in Sol de Janeiro’s signature vibrant colours, blending sustainability with festive charm

The activation is further promoted through a geo-targeted marketing campaign with UBER and With Swift. The partnership aims to reach over 25,000 travellers heading to Paris CDG.

It incorporates performance tracking via a special digital coupon online, which enables shoppers to receive a complimentary Sol de Janeiro yellow pouch with purchases over €39 at the pop-up.
