SINGAPORE. Leading consumer technology retailer Sprint-Cass has captured a Photographic Equipment/Lifestyle Electronics/Computer Concession at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1.
Sprint-Cass beat competition from Hartamanis, the only other bidder, to secure the concession in Departure/Transit Lounge West. The unit measures around 186sq m.
Sprint-Cass split its bid to take account of the current T1 Upgrading Project. For the period from 1 October 2009 to 30 September 2010 it offered 10.5% of the total monthly gross sales; or a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$100,000, whichever is higher.
For the period from 1 October 2010 to 11 October 2011 or when the new photographic equipment concession opens, it offered 12% of the total monthly gross sales; or a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$170,999, whichever is higher.
From then until the concession ends, Sprint-Cass offered 12% of the total monthly gross sales; or a Minimum Monthly Guarantee of S$100,000, whichever is higher.
The three-year concession begins on 1 October.
Sprint-Cass was also the sole bidder for a separate consumer technology concession at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2, where the award is expected to be confirmed soon.
