Sprint-Cass poised to capture consumer electronics concession at Changi Airport’s Budget Terminal – 02/10/08

SINGAPORE. Consumer electronics distributor and retailer Sprint-Cass looks poised to capture a Photographic Equipment/Lifestyle Electronics/Computer Concession at Singapore Changi Airport’s Budget Terminal, after it was the sole bidder for the business.

In its tender for the 105sq m unit, the company offered either 3% of incremental monthly gross sales above S$250,000 up to S$500,000; plus 5% of incremental monthly gross sales above S$500,000.

The contract begins on 26 March 2009 and runs for three years.

If awarded, this would be the second key consumer electronics contract within a month for Sprint-Cass at Changi. As reported, the company won the tender for a concession in T1 Departures, where it is scheduled to begin operating on 15 November.
