SSP America introduces three local F&B brands to Phoenix Sky Harbor International

US. Travel food & beverage concessionaire SSP America has unveiled three new restaurants – all in partnership with home-grown Arizona brands – at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s North Concourse.

The new dining venues – Ajo Al’s, PHX Beer Co. and Scramble – are part of the Arizona airport’s US$590 million Terminal 3 Modernisation Programme.

Established in 1986, Ajo Al’s at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has become part of a chain of family-owned and operated Mexican restaurants

Ajo Al’s Mexican Café is offering traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern, Sonoran-style twist. The brand has four established restaurants across the state of Arizona.

The nearby PHX Beer Co., which has a brewery and taproom in Phoenix’s Washington Street and a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona serves craft beer alongside classic American main courses, salads, soups, sandwiches, pizzas and desserts.

Meanwhile, American cuisine specialist Scramble offers a substantial breakfast menu, alongside gourmet sandwiches, salads and wraps. The brand is responsible for two restaurants in Phoenix, one in Scottsdale and another in Tempe, Arizona.

SSP America Vice President of Business Development Scott Welding said: “As Phoenix Sky Harbor completes its modernisation of the newly-named John S. McCain III Terminal 3, SSP America is proud to celebrate the opening of its latest collection of locally-based restaurants in the North Concourse.”

Scramble’s classic American fare is complemented by a variety of vegan menu choices

He added: “These local favourites will offer passengers a true taste of our region, featuring some of the best local craft beers, Sonoran-style Mexican dishes and all-day breakfasts. SSP America is proud to continue our full support of this region’s dynamic culinary community.”
