SSP America names Bob Stanton as VP Business Development

Bob Stanton: 30 years of retail and hospitality experience

NORTH AMERICA. SSP America has named Robert “Bob” Stanton as Vice President of Business Development.

Stanton will bring over 30 years of retail and hospitality experience to the development team, said SSP, “helping to identify future industry trends as well as develop strategic growth opportunities”.

Before joining SSP America, he served as Vice President of Business Development for Delaware North Companies-Travel Hospitality Services, Inc. Responsible for repositioning Delaware North in the industry, he led a team of developers and concept directors in securing over US$1 billion in new business.

In his career, Stanton has developed concepts over multiple accounts that exceed US$2.5 billion in annual sales, noted SSP.

The company said: “From turnpike operations across the North Eastern United States, to European rail and Chinese airport services, to the development of numerous portfolios and concepts at Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, Minneapolis and Austin airports, Bob understands the travelling consumer as well as what drives revenue in the travel environment.”

Stanton is also a regularly featured guest speaker for industry conferences and organisations including Airport Revenue News (ARN), the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), Airport Cities World Conference and, the American Association of Airport Executives. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Airports Council International as well as held affiliations with the International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives and the International Conference of Shopping Centers.
