USA. SSP America has been awarded a food & beverage contract by the city of San José to develop and operate six new restaurant concepts at Norman Y. Mineta San José International.
The contract will see SSP America introduce 12 local brands and six prominent local chefs to the Silicon Valley airport.

“Our cool chefs, concepts and brands don’t just represent San José’s culinary landscape, they define it. Passengers travelling through SJC will see, smell and, above all, enjoy a taste of the Silicon Valley region. This Sense of Place is absolutely unparalleled in any other possible collection.”
Fast casual Mexican outlet Olla Cocina celebrates the San José region with a fusion of California’s local, seasonal ingredients, under the watchful eye of Chef Armando Navarro.
California Market by David Kinch presents a selection of the chef’s renowned concepts, including Manresa Bread bakery, Verve Coffee, and a full-service Bar Kinch Epicurean Libations. Passengers can also browse the market component.

San Pedro Square Market brings together local brands including Asian street food from Straits Hawker Street by Chris Yeo; Asian fusion Konjoe Burger; shareable plates and craft cocktails from District; healthy, organic meals and snacks from Earthbar; and regional craft brews at the Market Beer Company.
One of the most popular restaurants in Silicon Valley, The Farmers Union showcases regional produce to produce modern spins on American classics.
Peet’s Coffee, aside from selling hand-roasted beverages, will also feature San José’s Bagel Guys.
Jim Stump’s Taproom & Kitchen is a gastropub with a farm-to-fork philosophy to both food and drink, run by the eponymous chef and restaurateur.
