UK. SSP has revealed its full line-up of food & beverage openings at King Abdulaziz International Airport, as it moves towards completing a comprehensive dining programme at the Jeddah travel hub.
The units are located throughout Terminal 1’s landside, international and domestic halls and post-security in the North Terminal.

The line-up features several leading gourmet brands from the Middle East region and beyond. These include Café Bateel (read our story here), which combines Middle Eastern essence with Mediterranean accents; Viennese coffee shop Aïda (story here); and gelato venue Snowflake.
Other international concepts include Falafel & Friends (Middle East cuisine), YaSalam! (shawarma), The Social Bakery (pastries), Pizza Express, Pret A Manger, Brioche Dorée and Crêpeaffaire.

The King Abdulaziz Airport line-up also includes a selection of SSP’s best-known own brands such as to-go concept Soul + Grain, Camden food co. and Ritazza.
The SSP proprietary brands on offer also include Patamar (Middle East and Indian cuisine), Negroni’s (pizzas) and Jed2Fly, a concept developed specifically for this airport (a convenience store offering food and drink to take on flights).
Jeddah favourite The Social Kitchen will complete the ambitious SSP sequence of openings when it begins trading later this year.

SSP Eastern Europe and Middle East CEO Mark Angela said: “We are delighted to have opened such a significant and strong business in King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah. The brand mix we have created, drawing from our extensive portfolio of some of the world’s most exciting names is exceptional, and we’re certain it will delight travellers passing through KAIA.
“It’s gratifying to have brought Pret A Manger to Saudi Arabia for the first time, and also introduced airport guests to Aïda, Snowflake and Crêpeaffaire. This new offer is a testament to our commitment to deliver the best part of the journey to guests, globally.
“The projects align strongly with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the country’s economy and promote tourism, hospitality and entertainment.
“As SSP continues to grow in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region, we’re looking forward to making an even greater contribution to its evolving culinary landscape.”
