SWEDEN. Swedavia-operated Luleå Airport will introduce three new food & beverage venues this Spring in partnership with SSP Sweden. The concepts are gastropub Craft n’ Draft, café Cornelius Coffee and self-service outlet Kiosk.
Craft n’ Draft will have a focus on food and beer delivered in relaxed setting featuring exposed brick walls and comfortable sofas.

Cornelius Coffee is described as a modern coffee bar adapted to travel-related locations. In an airside space, passengers will be offered barista coffee, pastries and a variety of meal choices. The concept also includes a shop-in-shop, named Kiosk, where passengers can pay for their products at self-service checkouts.
Separately, a Kiosk outlet will also open in a landside location, with a fast food offer which includes burgers, grilled sandwiches, sweets, soft drinks and coffee.
Luleå Airport Director Ann-Christin Viklund said: “Right now, Swedavia is making the biggest investment ever in commercial operations at its ten airports, and Luleå is getting as many as three brand-new, fresh restaurant and café concepts at the airport.

“We have had a really strong recovery in passenger volume and are almost back to pre-pandemic levels. This spring, we will also have many more charter destinations back at the airport, so it feels really great that we can offer a new, updated range of options.”
SSP Operation Manager North Sweden Sara Sandqvist said: “We are really looking forward to opening our second Craft n’ Draft here in Luleå, which we know is a popular concept with Luleå residents and we believe it will also be popular with our travellers at Luleå Airport.
“It feels extra special to open the first Cornelius Coffee here in Luleå. We have chosen for half of the dishes and sandwiches to be vegan or lacto-ovo vegetarian, so we have a wide range where everyone will find something to eat. We look forward to continuing our fine collaboration with Swedavia and developing the offer at the airport.”
Luleå Airport is located in North Sweden and served around 1.2 passengers in 2019.
