St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport opens gastromarket and other F&B and retail stores

RUSSIA. Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg has announced a number of recent openings in its domestic departures hall: a gastromarket, a coffee shop, a toy store, a seafood shop and a pharmacy.

The new gastromarket, called Craft, combines a local farm products store, a wine shop and a café. It offers panoramic views through large windows. The food menu features dishes made from products that are available to purchase in the store, including seafood, cheese, sausages and other farm delicacies from the Leningrad region and other parts of Russia.

Craft’s bar offers 144 wine and 130 beer brands, including a selection from local producers. In addition to farm products, the grocery store offers dried fruit, pastilles, churchkhelas [a candle-shaped sweet], jams and other healthy sweets.

The Shokoladnitsa coffee shop has been refreshed as part of airport operator Northern Capital Gateway’s wider renovation of the commercial area in the domestic departures hall. Shokoladnitsa’s new interior showcases the historical significance of St. Petersburg, with posters of Saint Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, and Peterhof Palace adorning the walls.

Pulkovo Airport’s new toy store, called Toy, offers dolls from popular series and collections, creativity kits, books, puzzles, board games and other toys, and also features a playground. Children’s suitcases, neck cushions and other travel goods are also available.
