INTERNATIONAL. Carnival Cruise Line has partnered with Starboard Cruise Services to introduce a ‘Fun Italian Style’ concept to Carnival Venezia, the newest addition to the cruiseline’s fleet. It features a range of luxury offers and collections that are making their first appearance to Carnival guests. The ship begins cruising from its New York City homeport on 15 June.
Carnival Venezia boutiques will feature many luxury brands, including Bulgari, Cartier, Tag Heuer, prints from ICaftani, and jewellery of Murano glass from Lionve. Fragrances from Versace, Tom Ford, Love Moschino and Dolce & Gabbana are available, along with sunglasses from Gucci and Fendi.
Carnival Venezia’s upscale offerings continue with a dedicated luxury leathergoods shop that houses Marc Jacobs’ accessories and handbags, along with and Emporio Armani handbags.

At the Front Street Watches shop, guests can find timepieces from Bremont, Gucci, Longines, Michele and Philip Stein. Vintage store What Goes Around Comes Around carries many sought-after pre-loved designer leather handbags and accessories.
The ship is also home to several new ‘Fun Italian Style’ collections. These include:
- Venezia Masquerade accessories including feather boas, fans, hats, t-shirts and home decor.
- Carnival Venezia Racing Stripes Collection: Inspired by the country’s symbolic mode of transport, the Italian scooter, guests can shop apparel, hats, drinkware and luggage tags.
- Carnival Venezia Inaugural Collection: With colours from the Italian flag throughout the collection, this features unisex windbreakers, polos, t-shirts, drinkware, totes and hats.
“We are thrilled to bring the essence of Italy to life with fresh offerings under the newly unveiled ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style’ banner,” said Starboard President and CEO Lisa Bauer. “The vibrant brand assortment aligns perfectly with the Carnival Venezia experience and reflects the fun atmosphere guests expect.”
The new retail offerings complement the new ‘Fun Italian Style’ experiences across the ship, which celebrates Venice. The vessel accommodates more than 5,000 guests and will offer ten different cruise durations and 22 itineraries featuring visits to 25 ports across 14 countries. ✈
