Starskin Beauty sets sights on travel retail expansion

Launch: Starskin Beauty is looking to establish its extensive mask collection in the travel retail channel.

Details: The Starskin collection centres around a collection of different masks that are said to deliver a “red carpet complexion”, as seen on Hollywood stars. The line was developed by dermatologists, and sourced from South Korea.

The product portfolio includes a selection of Bio-Cellulose sheet masks formulated with naturally fermented coconut juice; the Instaglam Soft Peeling Program (which takes the form of an AHA-infused puff); and Magic Hour Double Layer hand and feet masks, which harness thermal at-home spa technology. The recommended domestic price-points range from €8.95-10.95.

Within Europe, at present Starskin products are available exclusively at Douglas Germany, ahead of a full roll-out to all Douglas regions. In the UK, the brand will be launched at Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and with online e-tailer ASOS. The company is also in advanced negotiations with two Middle Eastern retailers.

Within the travel retail channel, Starskin will make its debut with Kappé at Schiphol Airport in August, and will roll out to Dufry/Nuance doors later this year.
