In 2014 Stroili has its sights set on expanding its airport retail distribution |
Following its inflight launch last year, the Italian jewellery brand is looking to expand its airport retail distribution in 2014, particularly in Asia and North America.
Stroili CEO Maurizio Merenda said: “We are now having very encouraging meetings with several major retailers through our travel retail partner LCG-Skylink and are confident of securing some excellent positions at key airports within the next few months.”
The company said Gebr Heinemann and Dufry have shown interest in its collections. Stroili jewellery is currently available at Bahrain Duty Free and Kuwait City Airport (duty paid).
Existing airline partner Emirates has added a necklace and earrings from Stroili’s Chic Embrace product range to its offering this year.
Stroili reported “excellent” sales of the Chic Embrace gold plated cuff and ring set in 2013 on airlines, including Emirates and KLM, which was the first airline to feature the brand.
In 2014, Stroili will launch new collections, including New Moon, Kalahari, Incanto and Evanescence. The entire product range includes diamond, 9k and 18k gold, silver 925 and fashion collections.
Founded in 1989, Stroili reported sales of €200 million in 2012.
