*Sunil Tuli career snapshot
Sunil Tuli entered the travel retail sector in 1984 when he joined India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) in charge of duty free shops in Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi, Madras and Trivandrum. He then assumed a leadership role at Scotts Weitnauer in Singapore in 1991.

When that joint venture broke up, Tuli became Weitnauer Singapore Managing Director and later head of the company’s (now Dufry) Asia operations, before being promoted to Asia Pacific and Middle East Chief Operating Officer. He joined King Power Group (Hong Kong) in 2003 as Merchandising Director, later being promoted to Managing Director Duty Free and Travel Retail.

Underlining his influence in the travel retail community, he was also President of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) for three consecutive terms between 2007 and 2013.
