ITALY. Vogue Eyewear, part of the Luxottica Group, has chosen supermodel Kate Moss to be the face of its Spring/Summer 11 advertising campaign.
Mario Testino, a long-time friend of Kate Moss, shot the campaign at Syon House in Brentford, near London.
“I am pleased to be the new face of the Vogue Eyewear advertising campaign and to work again with my friend, Mario Testino. Vogue Eyewear is always in step with the latest trends,” commented Moss on the film set.
Moss chose a selection of six sunglasses and glasses models and colours for the shoot. They are characterised by a sophisticated style, with soft and round lines. The frames come in two-colour acetate, both gradient and solid colour, in a colour range that stretches from wisteria to poppy, topaz and dark blue, black and tortoiseshell.
The advertising campaign shots premiered in late January 2011 on the website vogue-eyewear.com, and from Spring 2011 in major international fashion monthlies and weeklies.
Vogue Eyewear Brand Manager Daniela Policastro stated: “We are excited about having Kate Moss as spokesperson for the new Vogue Eyewear advertising campaign and about working once again with Mario Testino. Vogue Eyewear once more confirms itself the mirror of new trends and at the same time knows how to show off the individual style of every woman.”
