Swarovski Travel Retail Asia Pacific has launched its Summer City Buzz pop-up store at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in collaboration with duty free retailer Tasa Meng.
The pop-up opened at the beginning of July and is part of a seasonal pop-up series across Asia Pacific, showcasing Swarovski’s 2019 Summer Collection. This is the first time that Swarovski and duty free retailer Tasa Meng have partnered together for an airport activation.

The Summer City Buzz pop-up store is designed as a candy coloured camper van and reflects the playful spirit of Swarovski’s latest collection. The pop-up has two engagement zones that aim to inspire visitors to ‘follow their desires’ and have ‘no regrets’, which are the two key messages of Swarovski’s summer 2019 campaign. Inside, customers can play a scratch card game for a chance to win a summer-themed gift, or take selfies in a dynamic photo area.
Swarovski’s 2019 Summer Collection looks to the Mediterranean for inspiration and highlights different elements of ‘a colourful summer adventure’. The three ranges available in the Summer City Buzz pop-up store are the No Regrets, Ocean Line, and Ocean View collections. The No Regrets line features pastel toned cocktail and gelato designs, while the Ocean Line brings bejewelled sea creatures to life. Finally, the Ocean View Line offers nautical-themed statement pieces coloured in sunset hues.
