Swarovski Autumn/Winter 2004
Swarovski’s ‘Out of Africa’ collection for Autumn/Winter 2004 features coloured crystals set in dark walnut, rhodium-plated metal and synthetic materials in addition to the signature white crystals.

AUSTRIA. The latest home décor accessories and gift items from Swarovski’s Autumn/Winter collection 2004/2005 feature, apart from the signature white crystals, African-inspired designs in warm-coloured crystals.

Swarovski said the “˜Out of Africa’ home décor accessories and jewellery collection, designed for a luxurious home ambience, “marks the start of the company’s brand strategy which groups jewellery, accessories and objects under one universal motto”.

The Autumn/Winter collection features bowls, boxes, picture frames, tea lights and candle holders decorated with crystals set in dark chestnut wood, rhodium-plated metal and synthetic materials. The nature and quality of the products also makes them ideal for Christmas decorations.

The highlight is the Wooden Bowl – Out of Africa, which comes in a combination of crystal leaves in shades of red, orange and fuchsia set in gold metal and walnut wood. It measures 226mm x 140mm and is available only until December 2004.

The collection also consists of:

Boxes: The Mystery Box and the Magic Box combine dark walnut and faceted clear crystal.

Colonna candle holder: Classic crystal design set in cherry wood, available in three different sizes.

Jewels bowl and tea lights: This set combines matt orange crystal with sparkling rhodium-set faceted crystals in pink and red shades.

Picture frames: The Arcadia and Jewels picture frames are reminiscent of pieces of jewellery. The Jewels Window Ornament features faceted crystal leaves in monochromatic red shades. The Wooden Trees features a faceted bright yellow crystal set in walnut.

Crystal objects and collectibles: Animal figurines such as elephants, lions, a cheetah and a baby giraffe adds flair and humour to the African collection. Figurines come in clear and coloured crystals, with and without magnetic clips.

Butterflies: The Adena and Anamosa crystal butterflies, with magnetic clips, offer an unlimited scope for decorative ideas. The designs combine glossy black pieces with red or green set in rhodium-plated metal with a crystal tip.
