SWITZERLAND. Swatch Group has announced full details of its Watch and Jewellery tender win at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.
The company’s subsidiary Hour Passion has been awarded a series of three multibrand concessions until 2023. This includes one 95 sq. store in the Schengen area of Terminal 1, a 120 sq. space in the Schengen area of Terminal 2, and one 35 sq. luxury boutique at the Private Jet Terminal.
The tender win was initially announced yesterday (21 October) at the TFWA Exhibition in Cannes.
Hour Passion, Swatch Group’s multibrand retail network, started operations in 2007 at Nice Airport, with a sixth boutique opening in 2012. However, as part of the commercial revamp at Nice Airport the category offer has been changed to three concessions, with one per terminal.
The boutiques will begin opening in line with works at Nice Airport: starting from the second quarter of 2016 in Terminal 1 and then into Terminal 2 in 2017.
