Sweet Dreams by Heinemann reopens at Hong Kong International Airport

HONG KONG, CHINA. In a landmark moment for its regional business, Heinemann Asia Pacific reopened the Sweet Dreams by Heinemann confectionery stores at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) on 1 May.

This marks the first time since March 2020, early in the pandemic, that all the retailer’s stores in the region are trading. Fellow HKIA anchor store retailers Duty Zero by cdf (a liquor, tobacco and gourmet foods partnership between China Duty Free Group and Lagardère Travel Retail) and Beauty&You (perfume & cosmetics, run by The Shilla Duty Free) have been open for some time as the Special Administrative Region rebounds strongly from the crisis.

Sweet Dreams, the confectionery concept that Heinemann debuted in July 2018, aims to delight and inspire travellers of all ages with interactive displays and playful, eye-catching colours. The three stores near Gates 1, 27 and 60 each offers a mix of international and local brands, including the fan favourite Hokkaido chocolate brand Royce and an expanded TWG assortment.
