Jacques Lemans targets both male and female consumers with its five main collections: Jacques Lemans Genève, Jacques Lemans Classic, Jacques Lemans Sports, Jacques Lemans La Passion and Formula 1.
“About 70% of our market is male, but we are absolutely successful with the females with our fashion-oriented designs. Our best selling product comes from the female collection La Passion,” Jacques Lemans Export Manager Mag Jürgen Allesch told The Moodie Report.
Jacques Lemans watches are priced between €89 and €2,000, but the company’s main focus is on the €99-199 range, Allesch said.

Jacques Lemans Classic
This collection comprises a variety of models in traditional and timeless designs. Cases are made of solid stainless steel and complemented by premium genuine leather straps, high-grade steel or ceramic bracelets.
One of the top sellers is the London 1-1536, a 31mm round-faced model with a mother-of-pearl dial. Water resistant to five atm, it comes with two interchangeable leather straps in different colours.
Jacques Lemans Sports
Jacques Lemans combines the latest technologies with rugged materials such as solid stainless steel in this collection for both sporty men and women. The watches keep time and measure high speeds.
Every year the company launches a new Powerchrono model, which is one of its best sellers, Allesch said. This year’s Powerchrono 2009 is available in four different colours. The 46mm model with quartz movement is water resistant up to 10 atm and comes with a leather strap. The chronograph has 24-hour indication, a second counter and minute counter, counterstop function, date function, and a one-way adjustable swivel.
New to the collection is the Turntable-Dualtime-Chronograph, which has a reversible watch case with two movements and dials. The 44mm watch comes with a high-grade leather strap and is water resistant to five atm. It is available in four variations.
“Not all of our models are oversized – we offer different sizes – but we’re seeing increasing demand for oversized watches coming from markets such as Brazil, Germany and Austria,” Allesch noted.
Jacques Lemans La Passion
The La Passion women’s collection comprises trendy, hip and elegant models embellished with Swarovski gems, crystal powder and other designs. Jacques Lemans describes the La Passion watches as “accessories to underline a person’s individuality”.
Jacques Lemans Genève
This is the prime line of Jacques Lemans. Assembled in the city of Geneva, these Swiss-made timepieces offer a selection of styles, from fashionable to sporty and classic for men and women.
The collection features sapphire-crystal, high quality straps, stainless steel 316L cases, as well as Valjoux 7750, 7751, 2834-2 and some Swiss quartz movements.
Formula 1
In 2006 Jacques Lemans received the exclusive license by F1 Chief Bernie Ecclestone to use the F1 logo on its watches. The collection features materials such as carbon, titanium, rubber and stainless steel. Watches are priced from €130 to €299.
One of the top sellers is the 48mm Monte Carlo Chronograph, with a case made of solid stainless steel 316L. It is waterproof up to 10 atm and comes in “˜carbo-style’ synthetic strap.

The SEE Energywatch claims to improve the quality of sleep and boost overall well-being |
Jacques Lemans has also introduced the ISEE Energywatch, which not only tells time but claims to also have a positive impact on human health. It is said to invigorate the immune system, improve the quality of sleep, boost the ability to regain energy and protect wearers from the influences of electromagnetic pollution.
The collection is backed by YCTinside-technology, a result of 10 years of research by doctors and scientists. This technology is based on the application of quantum physical frequencies, which are transferred from a chip element (made of carbon and stainless steel) on the backside of the watch. These pulses have a constructive effect on the human organism and strengthen the self-healing process of any human body, Jacques Lemans said.
A scientific study at the Institute for Somnology and Interdisciplinary Sleep Research (ISIS) in Germany is said to have proven that the ISEE Energywatch significantly improves the quality of sleep. More than 80% of the research subjects reported that they fell asleep more easily and experienced less disruption while sleeping. There was also a significant reduction in the number of times they turned sides during the night, resulting in a more restorative sleep.
The ISEE Energywatch is an automatic watch with a mechanical movement and a power reserve of about 40 hours. It also shows the date and is water resistant to 10 atm. It features a double-ply dial and is available either with a high-grade leather strap or a solid stainless steel bracelet.
There are 12 models in the collection – six for women and six for men. Watches are priced from €299 to €399.
