Premium Swiss sleep and loungewear brand Hanro has ramped up its presence in the travel retail channel with a pop-up at Zürich Airport, and a digital Weibo and WeChat campaign geared towards Chinese travellers.
The brand was part of Zürich Airport’s recent immersive ‘Best of Switzerland’ campaign, which showcased the diversity of Swiss brands through a series of experiential pop-ups. It was the second year in a row that Hanro was included in the program.

Throughout the month of June, the brand also featured the ‘Holidays with Hanro’ pop-up in Zürich Airport airside. The boutique invited travelling customers to discover the brand’s latest summer collections as well as its ‘Ultralight’ range, which features breathable luxury sleepwear and underwear for women.
Customers also got the chance to win a free pair of Hanro’s Ultralight Mini Brief through an interactive game. The game encouraged customers to try tond correctly compare the weight of Hanro’s Ultralight Mini Briefs with various lightweight objects in the pop-up.
Hanro also launched an exclusive digital promotion geared towards Chinese travellers in collaboration with Zürich Airport. The customised marketing campaign featured Chinese language ads and appeared digitally on Weibo and WeChat as well as on dedicated POS communications in the Hanro mono-brand store.

Hanro is a leading Swiss lingerie, nightwear, and loungewear brand that was established in Liestal in 1884. The brand opened its first travel retail store in Zürich Airport in 2017.
