The airport is offering two free cups of coffee, a copy of the Daily Telegraph from Newslink and a A$10 duty free voucher for passengers spending A$20 for up to three hours’ car parking.

The promotion, which runs until 30 November, is being launched with an innovative campaign at the International Terminal. Over the next three weeks passengers will be able to use free photo booths to take photos of themselves and upload them instantly to their Facebook page.

Sydney Airport Chief Executive Kerrie Mather said: “Airports can be emotional places and our customers have told us they want to take the time to say goodbye or welcome family and friends. So we’re introducing a new offer that allows you to relax and spend time with your family and friends before they travel overseas.”

Sydney Airport has recently added 2,300 new car park spaces at the International Terminal and has completed a major upgrade of its car parking equipment. The company has added to its range of car parking deals, offering more choices to target the leisure traveller segment.

Mather said: “We have been doing a lot of work to increase choice and value in our parking offers and food outlets so we can better cater to all our customers. The feedback so far has been highly encouraging.”
