AUSTRALIA. Five new outlets have opened in the international food court in Sydney Airport terminal one. The food court was relaunched last week following a three-month redevelopment project.
Asagao (Japanese), Subway (submarine sandwiches), Oporto (Portuguese), Krispy Kreme (doughnuts) and Pulp Juice are not only newcomers to Sydney Airport, but the outlets are also their first in Australian airports.
Sydney Airport Chairman and CEO Max Moore-Wilton said: “Our new food outlets bring not just a fresh approach to food at Sydney Airport but also reinforce the importance of the airport to the economy, with more than 150 new jobs created through the opening of these stores.”
Existing outlets at the food court include Bok Choy (Chinese cuisine), McDonald’s and Shakespeare’s Pies.
