The M/S Baltic Queen will ply the Tallinn-Stockholm route |
ESTONIA. Tallink Group is preparing to launch the new cruise ferry M/S Baltic Queen after taking delivery of the vessel from the STX Europe shipyard in Rauma, Finland. The ship will sail on the Tallinn (Estonia) to Stockholm (Sweden) via Mariehamn (Ã…land Islands) route after its launch later this week.
The 212m long vessel will have capacity for 2,800 passengers with 927 cabins, 12 restaurants and bars, three shops and a conference centre for more than 450 people. The retail areas will mirror those on board the M/S Baltic Princess, the previous ship to be launched by Tallink. A special area with a playroom is available for children.
The Baltic Queen will replace the Romantika, which is being switched to the Riga-Stockholm service.
