Tante Agathe’s new gift boxes have more shelf appeal |
SWITZERLAND. Swiss biscuit-maker Tante Agathe is sprucing up its image. It will introduce a new set of gift boxes that update the brand and reinforce its Swiss identity at TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes next week.
At the show, buyers will get to view:
Les Raffinées: The elegant biscuit box filled with delicious cookies in four flavours, Sablés Thé à la Pêche, Sablés au Citron, Sablés à l’Orange, and Coeurs de l’Oranger.
The names of the biscuits are in gold foil blocking and the Tante Agathe logo features a younger and “more cheerful” master baker. The Bordeaux-red satin Tante Agathe ribbon remains the trademark of this range.
Biscuit illustrations and their natural ingredients are printed in five European languages on the packaging to increase its international appeal.
The company spokesperson says Les Raffinées will retail at €8.55 for for 210g, the same price as the old 160g box.
Les Boites Gourmandes : The biscuit tubs now come in a new design. They contain the slightly crispy Sablés (citron, orange, thé à la pêche) or the softer Couronnes (citron, orange, cannelle, vanille).
The tubs, sealed and beautifully presented, are said to keep the biscuits in perfect condition. Like Les Raffinées, they are embellished with the Swiss signature and the smiling face of Tante Agathe.
Buyers will also get to see and sample the new-style Boîtes Gourmandes filled Coeurs de l’Oranger, the company’s heart-shaped, orange-flavoured cookies.
For increased shelf appeal, the new tubs of Couronnes, Sablés and Coeurs de l’Oranger biscuits have been designed to be the same height which gives a more uniform display in travel retail.
Tante Agathe will be at Stand D23, Yellow Village.
