Ferrero Travel Market will highlight new Nutella, Kinder and Ferrero Rocher products at the IAADFS Summit of the Americas, in West Palm Beach, Miami on 16-19 April.
The company’s product line-up will be showcased by Otis McAllister (Stand #419), with an emphasis on the tablet and biscuit categories, which Ferrero said had helped drive sales in other travel retail markets.

Ferrero Travel Market has noted impressive growth across Americas travel retail, thanks in part to strong performances in leisure and holiday destinations, particularly Mexico and Panama. The company said it has also identified the potential for growth in Latin America and on the US West Coast as travel from key Asian markets recovers.
Ferrero Travel Market General Manager Sergio Salvagno said: “The Americas is a key market in this industry and has been an engine room for growth in travel retail in the wake of the pandemic. We are very pleased to be attending the Summit of the Americas with our valued partner Otis McAllister.
“Shoppers in the food & confectionery category today are looking for new and exciting ways to treat themselves and their loved ones and we are proud to be supporting our partners with the roll-out of our biscuit and tablet ranges, which have already proven themselves as generators of growth in this market.”
Ferrero Travel Market underlined its aim to enhance the “under-developed” biscuit category in travel retail through its leading brands Kinder and Nutella.
Under La Biscotteria branding, Ferrero has released three products – Kinder Cards T(2×3), Nutella Biscuits T12 and T22 – which have enjoyed limited exposure in selected European domestic markets over the last three years. Ferrero said the positive response from shoppers prompted the introduction of the range in airports, border stores and on ferries.
The La Biscotteria products are available in US travel retail from this month.
As reported, the Ferrero Rocher Tablets range made its global travel retail debut at The Virtual Travel Retail Expo in October 2021. It was also the subject of a Moodie Davitt homepage makeover.
The tablets are available in three flavours: milk, dark 55% cocoa and white. “The launch of Ferrero Rocher Tablets into the fast-growing premium chocolate tablet category reinforced Ferrero’s competitive position within the premium chocolate market,” Ferrero Travel Market said.

Ferrero Rocher Tablets, which featured in high-profile promotions in key European airports last year, will be available in US travel retail in May.
