Tasa Meng and Chanel to partner in pop-up store for new Gabrielle fragrance

TAIWAN. Travel retailer Tasa Meng is partnering with Chanel in a pop-up store at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2 next month to celebrate the launch of new women’s fragrance Gabrielle.

As reported, Gabrielle is the French beauty house’s first new fragrance pillar in 15 years. It is the first entirely new scent creation by Chanel’s nose Olivier Polge, who took over from his father Jacques four years ago.

Tasa Meng introduced Gabrielle recently, building on a strong relationship between the two companies over many years.

Chanel Asia Pacific and China Travel Markets Managing Director Hervé Ducros visited the Tasa Meng stores at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport T2 this month, commenting on the high quality of the execution.

Ducros was accompanied by Tasa Meng General Manager Gary Chau, who has worked closely with Chanel for 26 years in various travel retail roles.

Both executives noted that the combination of a good product and a strong, well-respected partner, backed by excellent service from Tasa Meng’s well-trained beauty advisors, augured well for the launch.
