TAIPEI. Leading travel retailer Tasa Meng Corporation last week partnered with Kaohsiung International Airport to provide free medical check-ups. The move is part of its continuing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
On 15 June the company helped arrange the check-ups along with the airport company and Kaohsiung Municipal Siogang Hospital. It is the third year running that Tasa Meng has supported this service.

A spokesman noted: “Although we are very busy preparing for the bidding at Taoyuan International Airport T2, our team continues to carry out our mission to [give back] to society.
“We believe that promoting health care needs to be consistent and that it is very important for us to draw our customers’ attention to it. The early discovery of potential health problems helps to reduce the risk of serious and sudden problems. It will also help to lower medical costs if we can discover illness early.”
