TFWA World Exhibition to take place in Cannes from 26 to 30 September

FRANCE. Tax Free World Association says that it will host the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference 2021 in the glamour event’s traditional venue of Cannes, France from 26 to 30 September.

As reported, the 2020 edition of the flagship Cannes event had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Location and surface previously rented in 2019 by exhibitors is reserved for those companies, TFWA said.

TFWA will apply the same price policy as in 2019, i.e. frozen stand prices allied to a Loyalty Programme bonus for eligible companies. A bare stand will be available at €478 per square metre and a shell scheme stand at €781 per square metre.

TFWA President Jaya Singh said: “We’re delighted to confirm our preparations to ensure the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference can return later this year. It has been great to see the early excitement among our members and exhibitors around our return to Cannes, and we’re looking forward to telling you more about this exciting event in the coming months.”

After a COVID-driven cancellation in 2020, TFWA plans to rejuvenate its flagship exhibition in September 2021 in the traditional venue of Cannes on the French Riviera

TFWA President Jaya Singh: “At this time of crisis, we place greater value than ever on industry outreach”

Following the recent election of new President Jaya Singh and the new Board, TFWA said that it aims to share the diversity and broad expertise of its Board members more effectively.

A more co-ordinated approach to relationships with other industry bodies will ensure that TFWA plays its part in enabling the industry to speak with one voice and with a common purpose, the association said.

Such an approach will also help to minimise duplication of effort as the industry’s leading associations work together to highlight the travel retail channel’s value across global and local economies, TFWA said.
