UAE. A Hard Rock Cafe outlet is to open at Dubai International in early November.
Airport operator Dubai Airports has reached an agreement with Hard Rock International and its regional franchise partners that will see the outlet open in Terminal 3 Concourse B.
The new location will feature a licensed restaurant, grab and go food, live entertainment and rock memorabilia. It will also house a Rock Shop retail unit, which will offer fashion and music-related merchandise.

Dubai Airports Executive Vice President Commercial Eugene Barry said the venue would complement the airport operator’s own musicDXB programme. “It is the perfect fit at an airport that is already world-renowned for its food & beverage, retail and music,” he said.
“Hard Rock Cafe sets the standard when it comes to combining great food and music and is a vital component of our strategy to create an airport experience that is second to none.”
Hard Rock International Vice President, Franchise Operations and Development Anibal Fernandez Lorden commented: “Hard Rock has been looking forward to opening its second location in Dubai after many successful years of operating in this iconic city.
“We could not have asked for a better location to provide travellers with great memories of one of the world’s top dining and entertainment brands.”
Hard Rock Cafe will add to the variety of leisure and entertainment offerings at Dubai International. As reported this week, the first Nutella Café in the airport world has opened there in a major food & beverage and retail initiative.
The Nutella Café [pictured below] is owned and operated by Ferrero partner HWH Café LLC and is also the brand’s first café in the Middle East.
