The 2024 Asian High Fashion Art Exhibition opens in style at cdf Mall

cdf Mall welcomed over 200 guests to celebrate the opening of the 2024 Asian High Fashion Art Exhibition

CHINA. The 2024 Asian High Fashion Art Exhibition has officially opened at the ‘You Time Art Centre’ at cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex (cdf Mall) in partnership with China Duty Free Group (CDFG).

The exhibition, which began yesterday (15 October), features 50 couture pieces from ten top Asian couture designers, showcasing a visual feast of fashion and artistic experiences.

Notable attendees included Sanya Deputy Mayor Yin Chengling; Director of Sanya Commerce Bureau Zheng Conghui; cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex Executive Director Zhou Lingjun; Fashion Bride magazine Editor in Chief Leng Yuxuan; and Hainan and Sanya Wedding and Tourism Industry Association President Xu Wei.

The glamorous event, a milestone in the development of Sanya’s fashion industry, played host to 200 guests, including representatives from the local government, luxury hotels, banks, tourist attractions, China Duty Free VIP members and industry media.

Also in attendance were Chinese celebrities along with select KOLs who have a combined fanbase of over 10 million followers.

Prominent Chinese and other Asian fashion designers such as Chen Peng, Li Sensens and Muga Zhang (Zhang Jingchuan) were present to share the inspirations behind their designs.

Works on display at the exhibition seamlessly blend tradition with modernity, East with West, and art with life, infusing new energy into the Sanya fashion industry and promoting the city’s innovation and development.

CDFG continues to highlight Asian fashion and enhance Sanya’s status on the international fashion stage. The successful launch of this exhibition, during the cdf Mall’s tenth anniversary, not only attracts fashion enthusiasts from all over the country but elevates the city’s image as an international tourism hub.

In her speech at the opening ceremony, Sanya Deputy Mayor Yin Chengling said: “Fashion and Sanya have long been intertwined. As early as 2000, Sanya began developing its ‘Beauty Economy’. This exhibition, hosted by Fashion Bride magazine, the Sanya Wedding and Tourism Industry Association and the cdf Mall, showcases 50 haute-couture garments from over ten leading Asian designers, including Guo Pei, Yumi Katsura and Jimmy Choo.

A representative from CDFG added: “This year, under the guidance of the Sanya government and in collaboration with Fashion Bride and other partners, we proudly present the 2024 Asian High Fashion Art Exhibition.

Through this event, we want our visitors to enjoy the allure of Asian couture and immerse themselves in the creativity of fashion art.
