The Edrington Group has selected London creative agency Jordan Design to develop 3D design guidelines in travel retail for its Dominican Republic premium rum brand Brugal.
The Scottish premium spirit producer awarded Jordan Design the contract over three other creative agencies. Jordan Design worked with Edrington earlier this year to create brand guidelines for premium whisky The Macallan and is currently developing 3D Design Guidelines for The Famous Grouse.

Edrington Business Development Director for Global Travel Retail Steven Sleigh said: “We wanted a first-rate design to convey the message behind the Brugal brand. Jordan Design has a proven track record in producing high grade designs for our premium brands and the draft designs they have produced for Brugal are of the same high standard.”
He added that the new display guidelines, which were introduced earlier this year, showcase the pack design and bring it to life in a “stylish and unexpected way.”
Edrington acquired a majority share in Brugal rum in 2008.
Jordan Design Owner Ben Jordan said his company is “delighted” to work with Edrington on the 3D design guidelines for Brugal rum. “It broadens our portfolio of spirits and capitalises on our core expertise, which is to express a luxury brand’s personality three-dimensionally.”
