The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has made two key leadership appointments within its Travel Retail Worldwide (TRWW) organisation.
Eric Lee has been named Senior Vice President (SVP) Business Development and Strategy Travel Retail Worldwide, effective 6 September.
Lee will report directly to ELC Senior Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis Travel Retail Sean Perry and join the Travel Retail Leadership Team.
In his new role, Lee will help TRWW explore new business development opportunities and business intelligence priorities.
An experienced strategic business leader, Lee is well-positioned to lead the organisation’s innovation and education projects, strategic pricing, business intelligence & analytics, and strategy & business development teams. Each team serves an important function in the effective running of TRWW’s commercial organisation.
Lee joins the TRWW team from the Corporate Strategy Team, where he worked as Vice President Corporate Strategy and led the company’s annual strategic planning process.
Patrick Bouchard has been appointed Senior Vice President General Manager La Mer and Le Labo, Travel Retail Worldwide, effective 1 September. Bouchard, a much-respected veteran in the travel retail sector, will report directly to ELC Global President Travel Retail Worldwide Israel Assa. He succeeds Karen Housman who was recently promoted to Senior Vice President/General Manager Travel Retail Asia Pacific.
Bouchard also has a matrix reporting line to La Mer Senior Vice President International YoeGin Chang and Le Labo Senior Vice President Global Marketing, International and Education Valeria Piana.
Bouchard will relocate to New York from Switzerland for his new role and remain part of the Travel Retail Leadership Team.
In this new role, Bouchard will be responsible for managing the La Mer and Le Labo brands in TRWW. With a collaborative mindset, business acumen and brand building knowledge, Bouchard will drive brand equity, expand distribution, enhance channel and consumer engagement and maximise sales and profits within travel retail.
He was previously Vice President Global Client Management TRWW, where he led a multi-functional and cross-regional team. During his tenure, Bouchard developed the strategy for all ELC accounts in global travel retail. He teamed up with brand leaders to create offline and online trade marketing plans and omnichannel campaigns. He also secured commercial framework agreements and drove go-to-market initiatives across various travel retail regions.
