The Estée Lauder Companies unveils senior posts – 20/06/04

US. The Estée Lauder Cos has promoted Aerin Lauder to senior Vice President of Global Creative Directions for the group’s Estée Lauder division, effective 1 July. She was previously Vice President of Global Advertising for the brand.

In addition, reports Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), Douglas Lloyd is set to join the company in the newly-created position of Senior Executive, Creative and Conceptual development. He will continue as a partner and creative director of Lloyd (+co), his advertising design firm.

Both Lauder and Lloyd will report to Group President Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne.

Lastly, Marc Benhamou has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global Creative Director, for the Aramis and Designer Fragrances division. He previously worked with Aerin Lauder on the Estée Lauder brand. Benhamou will now report to Aramis and Designer Fragrances President Fabrice Weber.

According to WWD, Bousquet-Chavanne paid tribute to the “amazing job” Aerin Lauder had done within advertising in terms of Estée Lauder’s much-publicised brand renewal programme.

He added that Lauder and Lloyd would now work together to “evolve the visual vocabulary of the brand while maintaining its heritage and emotional appeal”.
