The Glenwalk begins international expansion with Gulf Beverages partnership in Dubai

DUBAI. The Glenwalk has made its debut in Dubai and is set to enter travel retail in the region through a partnership with Gulf Beverages. The blended Scotch whisky brand was introduced by renowned Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt during an event at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel on 6 June.

The Glenwalk was launched last June in India by Cartelbros, a premium liquor specialist in which Dutt has a significant investment.

Its founding team includes: Manish Sani and Moksh Sani of Living Liquidz, one of India’s largest liquor retail chains; Drinq Academy Co-Founder Jitin S. Merani; Morgan Beverages Owner Rohan Nihalani; and Cartel Bros Chief Business Officer Neeraj Singh.

The Glenwalk achieved impressive sales upon launch, selling out shortly after it hit the shelves in India. This prompted the decision to expand internationally, with Dubai being the first step in the strategy.

According to the company, Dubai is the perfect choice for The Glenwalk’s international debut due to its status as a cosmopolitan and global transit hub. The city’s diverse populace also includes a significant Indian expatriate community.
