IRELAND. The Handmade Soap Company has signed an agreement with Vincent McDermott’s TR Partners to expand its presence in the travel retail channel. The B Corp-Certified brand is already available at duty free stores in Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airports.

The Irish company was established in 2010 by Donagh Quigley and his wife Gemma. Its first product was an apple and mint soap created in the Quigley kitchen. Today, the company operates from an upcycled mill building in Slane, employing over 70 people.

The brand takes pride in its ethical sourcing policy with suppliers, and it uses natural ingredients to create products that are vegan and cruelty free. Its range includes soap, shower gel, body butter, hand cream, candles, diffusers and more in different fragrance combinations: Lemongrass & Cedarwood; Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme & Mint; Grapefruit & May Chang; and Bergamot & Eucalyptus.
The Handmade Soap Company bottles are made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials and are recyclable, while its boxes are made from FSC-approved sustainable cardboard from managed forests.
