UK. The Harry Potter Shop has opened a 614sq ft store at London Gatwick North Terminal.
The International Departure Lounge store offers a range of Wizarding World products including clothing, souvenirs and collectibles.
Highlights include Harry Potter Christmas jumpers; a winter accessories set including hat, scarf and gloves; a personalised Hogwarts acceptance letter; a mystery flying Snitch; and wands from the series’ lead characters.
The store’s opening coincides with the release of Warner Bros Picture’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the latest installment in JK Rowling’s successful franchise. Rowling also wrote the Harry Potter series.
The Harry Potter Shop Heathrow Managing Director Jonathan Sands said: “We are so proud to open the newest of our official Harry Potter Shops at Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal. Our aim is to create a unique shopping experience, offering the best the Wizarding World has to offer.”
London Gatwick Head of Retail Rachel Bulford commented: “I am thrilled to welcome such a popular and iconic brand to Gatwick. The Harry Potter Shop is a fantastic addition to the retailers at Gatwick as we continue to focus on providing great choice and value for our passengers through our mix of shops and restaurants.”
