INTERNATONAL. Table reservations and partnership opportunities are now open for The Moodie Davitt Report 2019 Duty Calls Charity Dinner.
The dinner, which will raise funds for Asia Pacific charity Friends International, will take place on Saturday 11 May in Singapore on the eve of the TFWA Asia Pacific Conference and Exhibition. Details of the venue – a particularly exciting location – will be announced very soon.
Friends International has also been chosen by the highly influential Women in Travel Retail (WiTR) as its official charity for 2019.
The official website for the Charity Dinner is now live at the DutyCalls event site. Companies and individuals are encouraged to book their tables early as seats for the dinner are limited. Tables can be reserved at the basic price (individual places are also available), or for Gold, Diamond and Platinum level partnerships. Details of all these and other sponsorship options and benefits can be found on the event website.
Details of all partnership options are on the event website. Interested parties can contact Michael Barrett or Irene Revilla for more information (Michael@MoodieDavittReport.com and Irene@MoodieDavittReport.com).
Companies are also invited to submit proposals for high-value products or experiences they would like to donate to the charity auction and silent auction which will be held during the dinner. The auctions will be an important part of the fundraising activities to benefit Friends International and we are strongly encouraged by some of the gifts that have been pledged so far.
The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said, “We are continuously reminded of the immense generosity of the global duty free and travel retail industry. Year after year, companies and individuals in our business demonstrate a profound social conscience. Some we report on, much more happens behind the scenes.
“We’re honoured to host this dinner which will be a showcase for that spirit of benevolence and raise funds for an important cause. We look forward to welcoming many friends and colleagues at the dinner in Singapore and we call on the travel retail industry to support this initiative with its trademark spirit of benevolence.”
All proceeds will benefit Friends International’s projects helping underprivileged children, including sick and disabled children in particular, as well as young adults around Asia Pacific.
